The Mobile Wellness and Recovery (MW&R) program is a joint program between the Human Service Center of Peoria, Illinois and Sinnissippi Centers of Ogle, Whiteside, Carroll, and Lee counties. Our mission is to provide quality, Cognitive Behavioral treatment to those who are interested on learning skills for pain management, treatment of depression, or substance use treatment. The MW&R program is a three year, SAMSHA funded grant that provides e-therapy treatment to people who want to improve their skills in dealing with symptoms or pain, depression, or substance use. The e-therapy option allows individuals to access treatment from home and at a time that works for them. Because MW&R is federally funded, the program is free! Clients enrolled to MW&R will have telephone access to a CBT-trained clinician to review e-therapy modules and work toward their individualized goals. Clients will also work with a registered nurse to address health concerns.
